Design studio Rosalie de Kruyf works in the field of product design. Rosalie mostly concentrates on interior product design but also designs prints and patterns that she then often applies to products she herself has designed. In two thousand and nine she started her own design studio. She works under commission and also has her own collection.
The products from her collection are often conceptually substantiated. She uses her personal experience, desires and fascinations as inspiration for her designs and is sometimes also led by the spatial design process. By experimenting with materials in the spatial sense, she allows things to happen and come into being. She then reacts to these events for as long as it takes to create the product. These work methods create a huge diversity of products.
